For four years, the Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM) has been the proud partner of the performances that audiences have had the pleasure of witnessing. Thanks to their support, the Gala Dynastie has been able to deliver breathtaking numbers over the years.
"A vibrant celebration of Quebec creativity, the Gala Dynastie galvanizes us through a wealth of electrifying performances that showcase multiple talents at every edition. On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, this exceptional showcase brilliantly highlights the richness of our local arts scene and inspires future generations to pursue their artistic passions with passion and determination. The Conseil des arts de Montréal is proud to have a front-row seat at this unique event, both as an ally, and above all as a devoted audience member applauding with fervor." — Nathalie Maillé, Executive Director of the Conseil des arts de Montréal
This year, the theme is "The End of an Era." And the performances were conceived with exactly that spirit in mind. Each performance is a tribute to an honoured figure. Here are the artists who will take the stage at Théâtre Maisonneuve on April 11th.
Rouyn-Noranda — not the first city that comes to mind when you think of a future R&B star. And yet! Born to a South African father who fled apartheid and a Quebec mother, Zach Zoya grew up with two cultures in his ears and both in his heart. At 16, he arrived in Montreal with his first flows and a quiet ambition — the kind that doesn't make much noise at first, but always ends up making its mark.
Today? Millions of streams. The Canadian Top 40 radio chart. Nominations at the Berlin Music Video Awards and at the ADISQ. A deal with Universal Music Canada. His story is that of a guy who didn't need anyone to tell him it was possible — he just went ahead and did it.

To pay tribute to Egbert Gaye — visionary journalist, founder of the Montreal Community Contact, and a pillar of Montreal's Black and Caribbean communities, recipient of the Grand Prix Dynastie Héritage — Priscilla Findlay and the Deevine Choir will deliver a performance at the Gala Dynastie.

To pay tribute to Duke Eatmon — broadcaster, cultural bridge-builder nicknamed "Mr. Entertainment," voice of CBC Radio in Montreal for over 21 years, and recipient of the Grand Prix Dynastie Radio — Danny Blanco will take the stage.

To pay tribute to Mel Charlot and Alexandra "Spicey" Landé — two major figures in hip-hop dance who each, in their own way, paved the road for an entire generation — Mafa Studio takes the stage. The Montreal school rooted in Afro-diasporic, hip-hop and urban culture is no coincidence here: it is exactly the kind of artistic home that these two women helped make possible. One, a choreographer who became an indispensable judge on Révolution and Danse avec les stars. The other, who founded Ebnflōh, the Bust A Move Festival, and redefined what hip-hop can be on a creative stage.

They are part of the same number: Tribute to Our Northern Stars, a performance in three acts. What makes this moment unique is that the artists were chosen by NBA players themselves: Luguentz selected Muzion, Bennedict chose Izzy-S, and Chris named Shreez. These are their favourite Quebec rap artists.
Muzion represents Saint-Michel in the late 90s: Jenny Salgado, Imposs and Dramatik deciding to rap in French when almost no one believed in it. "La vi ti Nèg" drops, and everything changes. Two Félix awards at the ADISQ, SOCAN's Cultural Imprint prize in 2025, and Jenny Salgado as the first female MC and beatmaker to have built a real career in French-language Quebec hip-hop. Tonight, Muzion returns to the stage.
Shreez and Izzy-S represent the generation that grew up with that legacy and seized it as their own. Two distinct voices, two distinct worlds, one shared certainty: Quebec's next generation isn't waiting for permission. It's already here.
